Our medium has been under continuous development for over 38 years. We use our own media exclusively and we know they work and we can make recommendations based on our own practical experience.
Our medium is complete – it comes as a small sachet of dry powder.
It includes macro and micro electrolytes and organics, agar and sugar.
It has an intrinsic buffering capacity and a full range of essential trace elements. If the medium is intended for explant start [mericloning] it also includes essential Plant Growth Regulators. In all cases you only need to add water; banana pulp and / or coconut water when needed.

Storage
Store packs of Dry Powder Medium in a freezer until needed. Shelf life at least 10 years frozen.

Preparation
For a 1 litre lot, to a blender add 200 to 250 mLs of just boiled water, followed immediately by the packet of tissue culture medium
- Blend for about 20 to 30 seconds until it thickens
- Add more just boiled water to about 500mL and blend momentarily
- Add banana (and / or coconut milk where indicated)
- Blend again until homogenised [ up to a minute at most ]
- Add more water to 1 litre ( or to 1,100 mL for a softer better to use mix )
- Blend until just mixed
- Pour into suitable flasks. Seal with suitable closures and sterilise.
