Sarcochilus are a small delightful orchid. Sarcochilus are mainly epiphytic with some lithophytic (eg Sarcochilus ceceliae) species.
Sarcochilus have short arching spikes of flowers.
The new hybrids of Sarcochilus have been breed from Sarcochilus australis, falcatus, hirticalcar and fitzgeraldi in particular.
Sarcochilus are available in magnificent whites, whites with red centres, deep reds, yellows, and Golds.
Sarcochilus orchids are best grown in pots or timber slabs and hung on upright wire mesh.
